Designer Amber Veyt's original LEGO Ideas submission actually included minifigures of Jay and Ice - still alive but caged inside the cottage as they were left in Hocus Pocus. In a surprisingly dark move by the designers of the LEGO Sanderson Sisters Cottage, the fate of Jay and Ice is revealed, as their skeletons hang in the same cages from the ceiling. Somewhat concerningly, their fates are left unanswered at the end of the movie, as they're left caged. Karma steps in, of course, and the boys are abducted by the Sanderson Sisters and imprisoned in cages hung from the ceiling of their cottage. Played by Tobias Jelinek and Larry Bagby, the bullies welcome Max to Salem by mugging him for his shoes when it turns out he has no money, and follow it up by robbing trick or treaters of their candy on Halloween. In 1993's Hocus Pocus, the Sanderson Sisters are not the only antagonists, as Max Dennison (Omri Katz) is also terrorized by local Salem bullies Jay and Ernie (otherwise known as Ice).
